MY PERSONAL VIEW ON FAMILY

From Wikipedia definition : A family (from Latin: familia) is a group of people affiliated either by consanguinity (by recognized birth), affinity (by marriage or other relationship), or co-residence (as implied by the etymology of the English word “family”) or some combination of these.

Secondly the word “family” can be used metaphorically to create more inclusive categories such as community, nationhood, global village, and humanism.

Based on my personal reflection on a sermon taken today all throughout in the Catholic Church. Today was a celebration in the Catholic Church tagged “HOLY FAMILY”. The holy family comprise of Joseph, Mary and Jesus. The preacher gave detail explanation on the holy family based on the trust love and faith they have for each other.

The preacher was able to give a simple definition on family I quote what he said “a family is a group of people bonded together by ideology, belief, Religion, association, workplace and blood”

Family is bonded by a common goal. What is that goal? That what I will explain as I move further.

Am here not to contradict any one about my little or personal view about the family concept.

I will take each step as I explain what a family really look like in our society in this 21^st century.

 

BASED ON BIRTH

When a child is given birth to, that child belong to a family by birth. What bonded them together is what really matters. Which are two basic things I love to thrive for peace and love.

 

BASED ON IDEOLOGY

 

Family bonded together in terms of ideology can be scientist, educationist, inventors, freethinkers, philosophy,bloggers and writers

I will narrow mine down to the writer and bloggers here. We are bind by one idea in terms of inspirational write up post, Artistry photo post, life write up post and so on.

We are again bonded in term of views, Comment and likes. Bind together in terms of our personal view on what we post, what we comment, and how we feel for liking the post.

We bind again as Word press community………so that is family also and that is my family also.

Without family we don’t have a word press community. As a follower we meet and join together as one here in term of followers.

People who follow you. How do you treat them as part of the community?

I guess it should be also that my slogan “peace and love”. The ideas we share and post make us move on with life, those ideas can touch someone far and near to us.

The ideas can be food write up, love write up. Peace write up life write up, poem write up and so on.

But for us to achieve that goal here as a blogger community we need to remember that slogan always “PEACE and LOVE”. Which is important.

 

 

BASED ON RELIGION/BELIEF

Bonded by religion is also a part of the family I have to analyze here….

We are one. Been created by a supreme being which we worship in our own ways depending on you religion or belief

What   you belief depend on which family you will fall. So therefore we are bonded by religion in term of family which include Christian, Islamic, Buddhism Judaism
Without such family we not be hearing different religion.

But in inside this religion they are division using the Christian view as a point … We have different denomination like Pentecostal. Catholic. Anglican. Each denomination has their own way of worship that is totally different. But what bind us is that name we bear as Christians.

But what keep us together is to strive for that goal which is “peace and love”. When love exist peace will come in and vice versa.

 

 

 BASED ON ASSOCIATION

This covers the association we belong in our society. Whether socially or educationally, or politically.

So almost everybody has a family they belong to.  Is not about the belonging, what more is about the strive to maintain PEACE AND LOVE in the association.

 

BASED ON WORK PLACE

Yes, family are also find there, as far you gather and share a common coal in actually a purpose for the society. You have a family there.

What are you goals in your work place?

How do others workers see you?

What are your input to them?

Do they comment positively or negatively on you?

Is your relationship to them true or false?

Summarizing it all, I can say “love and peace” still have to strive in your work place.

 

 

 

BASED ON BLOOD

Wow……this is why they have family in the world. Family here in blood relate to also by birth.. More is required here than the outside family.

Here “charity becomes at home”

This is the grassroots of all families. What you do tells who you are and the family you belong to.

The preacher throw a question to the congregations. “IS ANY FAMILIES PERFECT”.  I was able to answer in my personal view  “NO”.  But I didn’t know the reason.

The preacher then answered it saying “No families is perfect as far no humans are perfect” .But we thrive to be perfect in our little ways.

So everybody should be proud of their families whether by blood/birth, association, ideology and religion/belief.
