PATRICK VIEW:THERE IS NO THING AS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

It doesn’t exist and don’t even tell me you believe in it without a proper explanation. Whatever happens on the first meeting is ATTRACTION and not love

Meeting someone for the first time,something must attract you to them. It could be their way of speaking,dance steps,dressing or smiles.

It doesn’t mean you love them,it only means they have caught your fancy. Attraction can be channeled to love and can also bring heart break if not well handled.

Attraction is an interest. Someone’s  black thick eyes can instantly attract you to them.
It doesn’t mean you are ready enough to call it love.

Love has many definition. It is an intense feelings of affection and care toward someone while attraction is  the action or power of evoking interest in or liking for someone or something.

Attraction at first sight happens,not love. So that is the  based on the definition.

It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be very friendly the first time you meet people but don’t be fast to think you are in love because what you still have is ATTRACTION  which can be grown, developed in to love or shattered  into heartbreak.

Here are my personal 26 characteristics you can be attracted to in people that have nothing to do with their physical appearance.

1. Their handwritings.

2. Their laugh.

 

 

 

3. Their dancing,whether they’re good or bad at it.

 

 

 

 

4. Being confident without being arrogant.

 

 

5. When their smiles makes other people smiles.

 

 

 

6. The way they quote their favorite movies.(Indian)

7. Their voice.

 

 

8. Being able to admitt their are wrong

 

 

9. Their secrets

 

 

10. Their walking step.

 

 

11. Their knowledge on wide range of topics

 

 

12. Their sense of humor

 

 

13. Their unique scent.

 

 

14. Their  ability to be playful.

 

 

15. Their humility.

 

16. When they can tease you without being offensive.

 

 

17. Their intelligence.

 

 

18. Their approach to life with ease

 

19. Their way of eating(shy to eat in public place, hiding to eat).

 

 

20.The way they pronounce and repeat certain words.( really, yeah, OK, right)

 

 

21. When they have integrity about everything they do.

 

22. Their good social skills – they know how to have a friendly conversation.

 

23. When they know how to have fun.

 

 

24. Their loyalty.

 

 

25.Their talk of motivation and drive.

 

 

26. Their choice of clothes/outfit.

 

 

 

 

With the above characteristics mentioned I can now stand on my own view : THERE IS NO THING AS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Am not here to make anybody find fault in me. This is my own personal view on this topic.

I guess am able to convince any body reading this post or write up. This is my own view about “nothing like love at first sight”

I have a simple question for my fellow bloggers.

My questions for you:

  1. Have you ever love someone at first sight?
  2. Have you been attracted to someone at first sight

  5. Love at first sight? I don’t believe in love at second or third sight too. Deep love takes time and a lot of work.
    Attraction at first sight? Yea once. It is the self confidence with attracts me, I suppose. And a man’s shoes… 😉😉 Hate those bathroom or house slippers 😫🤣

One will go through life meeting lots of people and some may attract ones attention, but one day one will meet that someone, and irregardless of their physical features and voice but just a quiet touch and a look into their eyes, one feels something they have not felt before and their life changes in an instant… the two of them say nothing but look into each others eyes and their silence speaks volumes…that is love at first sight.. 🙂

      For me love is an intense feeling, love is been developed. You can’t just develop love for a person at first sight within 5minutes.

  10. Your 26 attractions list=spot on! Attraction at first sight, YES. Curiosity & intrigue at first sight, YES. A deep desire to SEE & FEEL their true nature, YES. Love@ first sight, NO. But taking all those attractions, intrigues & desires and nurturing them through a mutual loving relationship, can GROW a deeply rooted seed of LOVE. (For me, I’d PERSONALLY add by nurturing them with God, love & respect, mutually)

  17. I personally think that you’re right. There is nothing called love at first sight. It’s just a myth. It’s always attraction. When you nurture and respect that attraction, give it ample time, it grows into love❤️ Totally agree🙂 Very interesting post!!

  21. When I met my husband, I wasn’t really into him. However, a few days later a big group of friends went out dancing. He asked me to dance, the minute I grabbed his hand, I knew. I knew he was my soulmate. I can’t explain how or why I knew, I just knew. I went home from vacation and packed up everything and moved across the country for him. 18 years later we are still in love and happy together.

  22. Very insightful ❤ I have found an attraction to someone at first site, twice and I lost them both. My first for 26 years, the second for 4. The experiences were wonderful, however, something inside me hardened. I still feel, but I am calloused in some way. I wrote a book to sort it all out. Its called Hold Me ❤

  23. It seems i am alone in this but yes I believe in love at first sight because I experienced it with my husband. The minute we met there was a connection between us that neither of us had ever felt before and we both knew, from that moment, that we wanted to be together for the rest of our lives. I don’t say that it happens all the time but, in my opinion, it does happen. Thanks for a really interesting post 😊

I don’t think love at first sight happens, if you feel attracted to someone or find yourself thinking about them then that can be crush, because love is when you connect with someone on emotional level, when you accept them the way they are, i don’t know why people consider crush and love in one category, i had a crush on celebrity but with the time I get it over… Love never gets over it’s not nothing like hangover 😀 I must admit you are the best blogger i have ever came across to ❤

  30. I agree with you on this one. It is definitely attraction on first sight. And mind you, that won’t last very long.

    My thoughts of love. It has to built up, better slowly and surely. Getting to know each other inside out.

    But sometimes we get caught up in the moment, we delude ourselves into thinking that it was love after all. I guess that’s the child like nature in us that hopes for a fairytale happy ever after.

      Everyone are different and born different.

      Some people don’t accept that fact about love at first sight.

      That is why I used the phrase: PATRICK VIEW.

      • I really do have the tendency to not answer things directly haha.
        1. I don’t think I fell in love with someone at first sight. I have a tendency to see past the looks and pay more attention on how the said person holds a conversation.
        2. Yes I’ve been attracted to someone at first sight. Someone definitely caught me off guard with his conversational skills.
