SHORT WRITE UP–PATRICK VIEW-LET IT GO

This post or topic have different views depending on the person. Here is my own personal research on this topic based on our life and people around us.
I just started with the meaning of let it go

From urban dictionary

let it goMeans to forget something.
Now let go majorly in to this topic now.

Let it go, When people walk away from you, let them walk, don’t talk another person into staying with you,don’t talk another person into loving you,don’t talk another person into calling you or caring about you.
don’t talk another person into staying with you, let it go.
when people walk away from you let them walk.
Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left, people leave you because they are not comfortable with you and if they are not comfortable to you, you can’t make them stay, let them go, and that doesn’t make them bad people,
It just means that their part in your story is over, and you have to know when peoples part in your story is over so that you don’t keep trying to think about it
You have to know when someone special is dead, let it go.
When it is over, let it go, stop begging people to stay, let them go.
If you are holding unto something that doesn’t belong to you and was never intended for your life then you need to let it go.
If you are holding unto past hurts and pains let it go,
If someone cant treat you right let it go.
If someone has angered you let it go, if you are holding unto some evil taught and revenge let it go.
If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction let it go.
You are holding unto a job that no longer meet your needs let it go,
if you have a bad attitude let it go.
If you are judging others to make your self feel better let it go.
If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship let it go, if you are trying to help someone who can’t even help himself let it go.
If you are feeling stressed and depressed let it go.
let the past be past, forget the former things let it go.
Think about the future and present.

  1. Sometimes you have to let go off comments your hear at work, sometimes from customers (very rarely), sometimes in the house / family. I have learned to let go. It is my choice, as to whom I need to explain things, and whether such explanations would do them or me any good. 🙂

  3. Letting go of the anger that would have been pulled up within from all those negative comments which never taught how to correct mistake have proven to be a great benefit mentally and physically.

  4. I could’ve replied to the post earlier when I read it but I didn’t because of the fact that I’m very bad at letting go. I can’t easily give up on people and circumstances, but you’re right sometimes we need to let go, may be that is the way to go at times.
    And yes holding on to things that aren’t meant for us is a waste of time and energy.
    I’ll try to change my attitude towards certain things and like you say, Let Go.

  6. Of course, I am thinking of the song!

    But, letting go of people who can only live drama is so freeing. So peaceful. Some people can only live that way…and that is their choice. I am not to judge, but I will not participate.

  9. Nothing lasts forever, just like how you learn to accept things you should also learn to let it go, which is the hardest part. I would also like to add that, people come and people go. we make mistakes, so it would be better to give it a shot and re-evaluate it before letting go by making amends and not forcing or begging someone to be with you.

      • 1. I have let go of negativity from all outlets (opinions, remarks, and hurtful actions). I had to understand that just because something comes with a massive cloud of negativity its up to me to decide whether to stay or step away from it.

  13. ‘Let it go’ What a beautiful topic to write on!!🖤 It’s very true…. We must let go of something if we want something more important…. Coming to the question, I’ve tried to let go of people who judge me and pass unnecessary comments on my imperfect body…. I’ve gotten rid of those feelings which make me feel inferior in the society…
