HOW TO CREATE PEACE

Creating peace is not something one learn just once. It’s something that involve constant practise like the saying “constant practise make perfect” .Here are some ways you can create peace:

1. BE POSITIVE AND SMILE

You should try to smile so much that an engraved smile is always on your face. By smiling your frame of mind becomes more positive and your attitude becomes constructive.

Also always try to be positive in every aspect of your life. This backbone will make every difficulty you face easier and will likewise get rid of a lot of stress.

2. BE THANKFUL AND COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

Peace comes from being humble. So if you are thankful for your life and all the blessings you have you will become more peaceful.

Plus by counting your blessings you will discover how fortunate you are and will you find all the positives in your life. This will make you more happy, content and peaceful.

3. STOP COMPLAINING

Negative thoughts affect your peace in a destructive way and by complaining you are thinking negatively.

For that reason the first thing you can do to help yourself, is stop being grouchy and cranky. you will find that by this simple change of attitude you will feel a whole lot better and will become much more peaceful.

4. DON’T OVER ANALYZE

This is huge. Many people over analyse situations that require little to no thinking. This way they cloud their minds and fill up their calm with a lot of thoughts. When they are thinking about so many things they become stressed out and anxious.

So if you want to create peace for yourself, stop over analysing situations and learn to calm down. This way you will have “empty no thought time” in your mind and will feel a lot more content.

  1. As always – very thought provoking. I love the challenges of your stories, as my eyes are opened by self reflection and better understanding. Thank you for this – for the knowledge that helps to bring inner peace.

As for the questions… hmmmm…. here you go! 🙂
    1. My thoughts and views on this article – our first thought when meeting someone should be something good, such as nice hand shake, genuine smile, etc. We should throw away the negative thoughts and assumptions. By focusing on the good, there are natural tendencies to learn more about the person. The more we learn, the more we understand and the more we can appreciate everyone.
    2. My thoughts on preventing violence and focus on peace – looks like I combined one and two in my above comments. Basically, throw out stereotypes, assumptions and negativity. Learn something new about some one, a different culture, be open to truly listening to another’s opinion. Disagreeing doesn’t mean some one is right and some one is wrong, we just have a difference of opinion. Embrace new, embrace learning and teach the positive that you have learned. Focus only on the good.
    3. Sadly there is violence where I live. It is not to the level that others are faced with every day, but it has affected me in some ways. The violence is the result of numerous factors that are not easily resolved. Poverty, cultural differences and lack of understanding or a desire to learn more has lead to the violence. Some feel it is the only way to be heard.
    4. Generations are impacted by violence. It can strengthen negative thoughts and beliefs, create fear and mistrust. Violence begets violence and there is no peace.
    5. The best way to promote peace – be open minded, shut out negative perceptions, observe, listen, learn and teach. Be a positive, peaceful influence.
    6. I believe they try to be peaceful. Unfortunately, perceived boundries influence the peaceful thoughts. Some believe if they are sheltered (stay within boundries) they have peace and few worries. However, true peace can only be obtained when we respect each other’s individualities and embrace our differences.
