PATRICK VIEW: A SPECIAL FRIEND

From my views, i was able to note some specific things i found in that my special friend.

Here goes an analogy about that special person i call my special friend.

Last time you were here we felt a different atmosphere couldn’t recover from the feeling of your smile.

Then I watched out for you the next Sunday, I Prayed Monday to Saturday that I may see that beautiful smile in you.

Then today, so anxious as I ponder in my heart about you. If only I could see your smile and your face i feel at ease. I looked up aimlessly into the clouds. A call might have at least confirmed my doubt

Then I saw you being ushered in like a royalty and coming toward me.How I jumped and screamed in my mind “My special friend is coming”.

It is fun , just when you’re here everything changes for good.

It is fun when we shout, sing, scream and rejoice together.

It is fun, when we talked about life and prosperity

It is fun My friend, just when you’re here i feel ease and i feel like talking to you all through.

  1. Lovely post Patrick! Am reminded not to take my special friends for granted today! I have a best friend I’ve known for years. He is loyal, and an exhorter and encourager in my life. We laugh alot, and although living in opposite parts of the world remain very connected, and as iron sharpens iron we seem to bring out the best in eachother, and make each other better people.😁

    Without true friends life is nothing, they stand by you in your difficult time in life, encourage you when you have self doubts in life, yes i do have true loyal friends, who love and care me . We laugh enjoy each moment of life together, we can discuss every topic together. Together we are a good team.

    These are true friends for me.

      Thank you. I am happy to see your comment. It gives me a thoughtful thinking and am  happy for short poem which you did now. That is always my intention to see a comment in relation to a poem as backup. That gives me thinking if we really have humans as friends in this world.

        1. I have more than one such friends with whom I am completely at ease and I can share everything that’s in my mind.
        2. Honestly, there’s a different answer for every subquestion here… 😅. There’s one friend with whom I have THE BEST CONVERSATIONS. There’s another who is an expert in chatting. Rejoicing, trolling and partying…. Well that’s fun in a select group of people who make me forget my ‘worries’ and have a good time!

Your post captures me in a moment Patrick ❤ … I especially liked your analogy and how you described the waiting, the need and the eventual embrace in your moments together again. … all of what you say and the quotes from others is so true. We find ourselves alone and yet, when gifted with the presence of another, the melding of energy and companionship creates something beyond us both.     • Am speechless right now, dnt know what to say right now.

      When I first saw the the long comment i was thinking it was a normal comment. But have to read to the end. I found out is quite different. I knew it was going to be a good and inspirational  comment.

      Am the type who reads very inspiring comment since it’s talking about friend. I have to read it.

      For me am the type who engaged in such also. When I read to the middle part i was convince that the comment was different. I didn’t waste my time in reading it instead I read it like a 5years old.

      You write and explaination about the post are quite OK.
      I make reference to it later  in preaching and promoting my blog. You just touch my spirit this morning.

  12. I do a special friend mine is my daughter, she is God’s gift to me, even though I do not deserve to be her mum. I feel she is everything I needed to complete me.

  15. I do have two very special girlfriends……met them both in my new neighborhood back in Colorado about 28 years ago. They truly are the sisters I never had. GOD knitted our paths together and they have never been broken. They love me for who I am, no judgement there and they would come at a moments notice of need. Friends like this are priceless and I am honored by their love for me. I know I am extremely blessed to have them in my life today. Thanks for your post!

  21. Awesome blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any ideas? Cheers!

  25. Thank you for reminding me that I have special friends that truly matter. I’m quite lucky enough that they are there at the right place at the right time.

    But friendship is a two way street. You have to give in order to receive. You have to make yourself special in order to receive something special.

        1. Do I have a special friend? Special can mean a lot of things. Special could be platonic or romantic. So yes I do I have special friends. We can’t live without special friends

        2. A person that gives me joy would probably be my family. Family is everything to me.

    Ah…now that’s a hard one. At the moment, it’s books I’m currently loving that makes me happy, but that aside. I know to appreciate the friends I have. Most have arisen because of the fact that I’m in Uni, and there’s going to be friends, even though usually called acquaintance, but your write made me think of the times I had that ❤
